Extraordinary Music

Haunting and powerfull, this is probably the best classical song I've heard on Newgrounds. The choir is absolutely superb, and the melody is beautiful and haunting. Excellent work throughout, this is an instant favourite.

Excellent

It might be incomplete but it's still excellent work. To me it sounds like a finale, like a reprise of a main theme. Like the end of something, an epic adventure that has come to an end. It doesn't need much more, I dont't think it should end in a very big way, it could just flow down to a quiet stop, like the screen slowly fades to black. But that's just me. I'm sure you'll find the appropriate way to end it. Anyway, congratulations on an excellent musical score.

I was kinda thinking the same thing about the way to end it, but I felt it needed more. Maybe that's what I'll do, maybe not. Who knows. I'm going to give it a couple more days before I decide. Maybe I'll find something else that'll give me an alternate inspiration. :)

Excellent

I'm not really a fan of trance, but once in a while a track like this comes out and my feelings change. Excellent mixing, excellent music writing, and a cool, refreshing rythm throughout. Excellent song !

[Epilogue (Piano)]

Beautiful

Very fitting as an epilogue. This is an excellent piece of music. Beautiful and emotionally stirring, excellent piano work and the synth strings go along smoothly. My one, very small complaint would be that the strings end too abruptly. Other than that, it's a perfect song.

Thanks for the comments! I tried to add some echo to provide a different type of fade out for the strings but maybe i brought the level of the echo down too much. I'll check into it and if that doesn't work I might just fade em out. Glad you enjoyed!

Are un efect cinematografic, foarte usor de vizualizat o scena cu melodia asta. Imi aduce aminte de muzica unui joc mai vechi, foarte intunecat, American McGee's Alice in Wonderland. Povestea din spatele melodiei este trista, este insa tocmai forta emotionala care o face mai mult decat o simpla melodie.

multumesc foarte mult, personal ma pasioneaza muzica de film iar unul din compozitorii preferati e Danny Elfmann (de la care am incercat sa "fur" cateva smecherii de orchestratie).
cred ca indiferent daca ne dam seama sau nu, in spatele unei melodii sta o poveste (ma refer aici la muzica nu la ce se da la radio) ...

I absolutely loved this track. It's very mysterious and epic in scope. Very good choice of instrumentation. I'm not entirely sure how well the heavy metal part fits this song, but still, great work !

This is truly a perfect song. Great instrumentation, great atmosphere, great melody. I loved every second of it. Excellent work !

[Interlude (Rise Again)]

It's very good, but...

The mixing feels a bit off. There were parts where i could hardly distinguish the instruments. Other than that it has a proper apocalyptic tone and very good music writing.

Thanks dude, I noticed it had a little bit too much mids and highs in the mix... so I might edit them out and remaster the track.

[Great Dishonor]

Short but good !

It's really short but it has a charming sound to it. Its light tone and pleasant melody make me believe that it would work even better as a longer song. And it doesn't necessarily have to be a Game Over jingle, it can easily become the background of a colorful scene of exploration with a bit of a comic relief element. Anyway, great job !
