You are on the right track ! This is great stuff. Looking forward to the finished version. Great work !

PrEmoEffect responds:

Cool thanks, ill try to finish fast 8]

Excellent

There's a great tragedy in this song. That's what unfolds in front of my eyes as I listen to it. This is a great piano track. I'm not an expert in tehnique, my own music is still in training limbo, so I can't give any tehnical critique, but it sounds like everything is where it should be, especially the heart. Great work ! Keep it up !

shesmackshard responds:

thank you for your review (:

Dark

It's not just dark, it has a twisted soul of its own. Excellent ideas mixed together in just the right amounts and perfect instrumentation. This is a great song. Keep up the good work !

shesmackshard responds:

Thank you :D

Awesome

This is a very original and atmospheric piece. It's simply awesome to listen to. It should be used in an animation or something. It's very surreal and mysterious. Loved it ! Keep up the great work !

Good work

The guitar sounds great and it's a wonderfull song, but the air static thing is just ruining the mood. Good work anyway.

Nice

Not really a fan of the genre, but I couldn't help noticing how good the sound mixing is. This is pretty proffesional stuff. The beat and vocals are good, but maybe less electronic handling of the singer's voice would have been better. Good work !

Mackity responds:

Ah, thanks for the feed back I'll take it into consideration for future tracks.

Good

Good work with the piano. You used the FL piano, right ? The layers fit in nicely and create a smooth rythm. There might be more you could do with this song though, as it is it's a bit repetetive. Anyway, good work !

The1Corrupted responds:

I know it's repetative, but it wasn't really meant to be a full on song. Yeah, I used the FL piano to make a few patterns. This was more or less an experiment to see how I could configure three different layers to play together.

Good Work

Not bad at all. I liked the sound mixing, the beat and the mood it creates, though I thought the vocals were a bit distracting. Without the vocals, or maybe replaced with some vocals that don't imply lyrics, it might turn out to be a great ambient song. Good work.

Gorgorothx responds:

Thank you. We'll keep that in mind.

Loved it !

I'm not a trance fan, but I loved this. It's very different from the usual trance songs around here. There's a lot of depth to the sound. Very immersive and kick-ass. Good stuff !

x-Exodus-X responds:

Thanks a lot!

Yeah, goa has its own feel. But it also stays with the classic progressiveness of trance.

I'm glad you liked it. I'll go check out your music right now!

Tense and Brutal

The previous reviewer has a point, as this could easily fit a World War II battle scene quite well. A thematic statement in the beginning of the track, solemn and heroic without overdoing it, then the battle begins, using parts of the theme as background for the percussions (which are awesome by the way). What I love about this song is that it really creates a dark, tense, brutal atmosphere rather than abusing the usual heroic scoring.

sorohanro responds:

Hey thanx
very nice review, I tried to describe the feelings of tension before the battle and I guess human nature and feelings are "timeless" (I guess that is the right word but my english ...)
there are some new tracks also orchestral, you might like ;)

Amateur composer and film-buff. That about sums it up.
